Hawthorne Heights - The Silence in Black and White (Re-Issue) [2005]


The Silence in Black and White is the debut album by Hawthorne Heights, released in 2004 under the label Victory Records. On Monday, June 27, 2005 the 2 disc special edition CD/DVD was released. The CD contains demos and acoustic versions of most of the songs, a DVD containing live performances, documentary footage, and many other bonus features. According to Eron Bucciarelli, the song "The Transition" was the first song Hawthorne Heights made as a new band from when their old band, A Day in the Life broke up. The album takes its title from a line in the song Niki FM. The Silence in Black and White has sold 816,483 in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
